Time to Lighten Up, From My Fashion Scrapbook
The calendar page has flipped over to March, and over the past week the temperatures have been climbing. While it’s been snowing again today, it still feels like it’s time to lighten up… when it comes to fashion at least. With these warmer days, I am feeling the need to put away the wool skirts and sweaters, and pull out the light jackets and short sleeves. While it will actually be a while before the warm weather is here to stay, these images from my fashion scrapbook are getting me in the mood…
I love the lace insets in this dress!
The sleeve on the left, above, is lovely. And it’s time to start adding in floral prints and lighter weight fabrics, even if they are still paired with jackets.
I always love a good pair of sunglasses, especially when they perfectly coordinate with the outfit.
If any brand epitomized “Spring”, it would have to be kate spade, with all their cheerful colours.
Finally this lovely soft pink chiffon dress covered in ruffles, perfectly encapsulates the feeling of Spring.

Polka dots! The dress is the wrong style for my body shape, but polka dots are my happy place.

Yes! Polka dots are so cheerful! I don’t think I have any in my wardrobe right now, but I used to and I loved them.
